Description
Blue Dream Neocaridina (Neocaridina davidi var. “Blue Dream”)
Appearance: Opaque, even royal-to-sapphire blue from head to tail, often including the legs and antennae. They’re far bolder than Blue Velvet or Blue Jelly. Females are larger and more saturated.
Care: Easy. They do well in dechlorinated tap water (pH 6.5–7.8, 68–78°F, GH 6–10, KH 2–6, TDS 150–350). They grow to 1–1.5 inches and live 1–2 years, and they graze algae and biofilm all day.
Breeding: They’re prolific in stable, planted tanks with moss and hiding spots.
