One of the most popular and colorful Sulawesi rabbit snails available! These gorgeous Orange Poso Rabbit Snails boast a striking, almost neon orange body and foot that really pops against their ridged, dark chocolate-to-black spiral shells. Their long, wrinkled proboscis (snout) gives them their “rabbit” nickname, and watching them glide around the tank is endlessly entertaining.

– Adult Size: Up to 2.5–3+ inches (some grow even larger with excellent care)

– Behavior: Peaceful, active grazers and scavengers. They spend their time cruising the substrate, glass, and plants searching for food.

– Diet: Omnivorous – loves biofilm, soft algae, decaying plant matter, blanched veggies (zucchini, spinach, cucumber), sinking pellets, and occasional meaty foods like bloodworms.

– Tank Setup: Best in established, stable aquariums with fine substrate, plenty of hiding spots (driftwood, rocks, plants), and gentle water flow. Minimum 10 gallons for 1–2 snails; add ~2–3 gallons per additional snail.

– Water Parameters: Temperature 76–84°F (24–29°C), pH 7.0–8.5 (ideally 7.5–8.2), GH 6–12, KH 4–8. Keep ammonia and nitrite at 0 ppm; nitrates low. They appreciate mineral-rich water—supplement with calcium if needed to maintain strong shells.

These snails reproduce very slowly (they give live birth, not eggs), so they won’t overrun your tank like some other snails. Perfect tankmates for shrimp, peaceful fish, and planted setups. Avoid copper-based medications.
