Description

Green Jade Neocaridina (Neocaridina davidi var. “Green Jade” / “Jade Green”)

Appearance: A solid, opaque, cool-toned jade or emerald green across the body, legs, and antennae, with minimal transparency or mottling. Females are slightly larger and the most saturated.

Care: Easy. They do well in dechlorinated tap water (pH 6.5–7.8, 68–78°F, GH 6–10, KH 2–6, TDS 150–350). They grow to 1–1.5 inches, live 1–2 years, and graze biofilm, soft algae, and detritus nonstop.

Breeding: Prolific in stable, planted tanks with plenty of hiding spots.
