Tangerine Tiger Caridina (Caridina serrata var. “Tangerine Tiger”)

Appearance: A vivid orange-to-tangerine base with sharp black or dark brown stripes along the carapace and abdomen. Females are slightly larger, with the richest orange and boldest stripes.

Care: Among the most beginner-friendly Caridina and more tolerant of parameter swings than bee or crystal types. Ours are kept in Caridina parameters, so match the care box above when you bring them home. They grow to 0.8–1.2 inches, live 1–2 years, and are active, not-too-shy grazers.

Breeding: Famously prolific. Females berry often, and colonies grow quickly in the right setup.
